OK, so my normally good-with-their-litter-boxes bunnies have suddenly turned rebellious and I don't know what to do about it. This morning they peed all over the top of their cage, which I cover with a towel so they can hop on top of it and have a "den-like" feeling inside the cage. They managed to get the walls and the towels soaked and my poor room mate cleaned it all up because it happened while I was at work. I don't know whether it was Yiska or Joy or both of them who peed everywhere but I don't know how to make it stop. Yiska is about 99 percent with his litter box and rarely has accidents. Joy, I'd say is maybe 50 percent... she's been proving quite the challenge in the litter training department. I've tried cleaning out the boxes every other day and I've also tried making sure that any waste dropped outside the boxes is placed in the boxes but, with Joy, none of it has been working. And now this. Anyone have any ideas? Oh, I should also add that my friend lived in this apartment before me with the same room mate and her bunnies in the same corner mine are situated in right now. Is it possible that the scent of the other bunnies is bringing out the rebelliousness in my bunnies?
